On Wednesday, April 16 at 1 p.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held to celebrate the opening of the new non-motorized small boat launch at Neabsco Regional Park. The launch will allow visitors to take their kayaks out through the Neabsco Creek, which connects to the Potomac River. Four new accessible parking spaces off of Blackburn Road have also been added at Neabsco Regional Park to allow for easier access to the park for people with disabilities. A historical marker at the location will also be unveiled during the ceremony.

**Please note the ribbon cutting will take place at the North Landing of the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk (near the main entrance to the Boardwalk.) Address is 15125 Blackburn Road, Woodbridge. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early as it is a short walk there.
