Originally, the Adventure Board was meant to be a bounce board, a safer, indoor-friendly alternative to the classic trampoline. And it works well as one, making for a fun toy that can keep kids active with bounce stimulation. Except, it’s a lot more versatile than that, allowing you to use it for a wide variety of play, both at home and in the outdoors.

Billed as “the ultimate multi-use backyard and adventure equipment,” the board doesn’t just have a springy bounce, it can also float on water, glide on snow, and offer a slippery surface when wet, allowing you to play with it in a whole host of other ways. It’s stiff enough to retain its shape when used as a bridge, flexible enough to bend slightly if you want to use it as a slide, and tough enough to fit a whole bunch of kids playing on it all at the same time. It’s a heck of a board.

The Adventure Board is a play toy that combines the rugged build of a river SUP, the bounce of a gymnastics air track, and a large size that allows it to fit multiple people comfortably, creating a unique toy that can be used for play in a number of ways. It’s inflatable, by the way, so you can roll it up into a bundle and slide it in the boot of the car, then blow it up to full size once you get to your destination. The toy is offered in three lengths: 10 feet, 16 feet, and 23 feet, each one measuring 3.3 feet wide and 0.7 feet in thickness.

What can you do it? In the backyard, you can set it up as a bounce board with plenty of rebound to get kids soaring up the air and doing backyard parkour. Add some water and you can use it as a ground slide. Heck, you can even set it up diagonally and turn it into a slide leading straight into the pool. Outdoors, it can be used as a large sled that’s big enough to fit a small family careening down a hill.

The Adventure Board can, of course, also be taken to the water, where you can use it as a giant paddleboard (not quite as nimble, but floats well enough), a diving platform (bouncing on the pad straight to the water sure sounds fun), and a floating dock that should allow for plenty of fun on the water. On the ground, the 10-foot board can accommodate up to 1,000 pounds, the 16-foot board handles 2,000 pounds, and the 23-footer supports up to 3,000. On the water, they recommend a little less weight to keep things stable, so the 10-foot is restricted to 750 pounds, the 16-foot to 1,500, and the 23-footer to 2,250.

Do note, these things are pretty heavy, with each one weighing anywhere from 35 to 65 pounds, depending on the size. They can also take a while to inflate because of the size, taking roughly 10 to 20 minutes each (again, depending on the size).

The Adventure Board is available now, priced at $799, $1,099, and $1,399 for the 10-, 16-, and 23-footer, respectively.
